The Department of Economics offers rigorous programs leading to Ph.D., M.A., M.S., and combined M.A./M.B.A. degrees. Our programs emphasize applied, policy-oriented economics and the development of strong econometric skills that prepare students for successful careers in academia, consulting and government. Areas of specialization including international economics and development, industrial organization and regulatory economics, labor economics, international macroeconomics, public economics, financial economics, and natural resources and environmental economics.
